Comment: This is my favorite painting. It is a testament to the beauty of the underwater realm and the diversity of life. Pictured is a miscellany of oceanic organisms, including clownfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, damsels, triggerfish, tangs, sardines, cavale, dolphins, rays, clams, brain-corals, acropora-corals, sponges, anemones, mushroom-corals, fan-corals, polyps, ridged-corals, tubeworms, and much more. An entire eco-system is portrayed in rich, vibrant color, communicating the warm vivacity that is the essence of life. Each species was researched and documented before any preliminary sketches were done, to insure the accuracy of the scene and habitat.

Jesus, look at the amount of working up on that. That would have taken weeks with oils. How long did it take? What brand of oils are you spreading and how many brushes?

That peice took several weeks to complete. It required alot of paint and a shitload of brushwork. When viewed in person you can see each grain of sand, every scale of every fish, and even the folicles of the corals.
